The invention provides azeotrope-like compositions consisting essentially of RfOCH3, where Rf is a branched or straight chain perfluoroalkyl group having 4 carbon atoms, and one or more organic solvent(s) selected from the group consisting of: straight chain, branched chain and cyclic alkanes containing 6 to 8 carbon atoms; cyclic and acyclic ethers containing 4 to 6 carbon atoms; ketones having 3 carbon atoms; chlorinated alkanes containing 1, 3 or 4 carbon atoms; chlorinated alkenes containing 2 carbon atoms, alcohols containing 1 to 4 carbon atoms, partially fluorinated alcohols containing 2 to 3 carbon atoms, 1-bromopropane, acetonitrile, HCFC 225ca(1,1-dichloro-2,2,3,3,3 pentafluoropropane and HCFC-225cb(1,3-dichloro-1,1,2,2,3-pentafluoropropane).

L'invention porte sur des compositions du type azéotropique principalement constituées de R¿f?OCH¿3? où R¿f? représente un groupe perfluoroalkyl à chaîne droite ou ramifiée contenant 4 atomes de carbone et d'un ou plusieurs solvants organiques choisis dans le groupe constitué d'alcanes à chaîne droite, à chaîne ramifiée et d'alcanes cycliques, contenant de 6 à 8 atomes de carbone, d'éthers cycliques et acycliques contenant de 4 à 6 atomes de carbone, de cétones contenant 3 atomes de carbone, d'alcanes chlorés contenant 1, 3 ou 4 atomes de carbone, d'alkylènes chlorés contenant 2 atomes de carbone, d'alcools contenant de 1 à 4 atomes de carbone, d'alcools partiellement fluorés contenant de 2 à 3 atomes de carbone, de 1-bromopropane, d'acétonitrile, de HCFC 225ca(1,1,-dichloro-2,2,3,3,3 pentafluoropropane) et de HCFC 225cb(1,1,-dichloro-1,1,2,2,3-pentafluoropropane).
