This invention provides compositions of 1,1,1,3,3-pentafluoropropane, water and at least one hydrocarbon selected from the group consisting of n-pentane, isopentane, cyclopentane and hexane that are environmentally desirable for use as refrigerants, aerosol propellants, metered dose inhalers, blowing agents for polymer foam, heat transfer media, and gaseous dielectrics.

L'invention concerne des compositions à base de 1,1,1,3,3-pentafluoropropane, d'eau et d'au moins un hydrocarbure pouvant être n-pentane, isopentane, cyclopentane et hexane. L'utilisation de ce type de composition est souhaitable pour la protection de l'environnement dans les cas suivants: réfrigérant, propulseur d'aérosol, aérosol-doseur, gonflant pour mousse polymère, agent caloporteur, et diélectrique gazeux.
