Abstract of the Disclosure The present invention relates to azo compounds of formula I, Image (I) in which R1 is hydrogen or an organic radical of the aliphatic or aromatic series conven- tional for disperse dyes and which is bound to a N-atom in the 1-or 2-position of the triazine nucleus through a carbon atom, R2 is an electron withdrawing or inductive group, and X is a coupling component radical of the aniline series, with the proviso that the molecule is free from aulphonic acid groups, metals and metallizable groups, which com- pounds are useful as disperse dyes.
