23189-5682E ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention relates to compounds of formula (II). Image (II) in which B represents a nitrogen atom or the CH group, X represents hydrogen or alkyl, Y represents alkyl, or alkenyl, alkinyl or optionally substituted benzyl, if X represents hydrogen, and R represents optionally substituted phenyl or the grouping Image wherein Alk1 represents alkyl and Alk2 represents alkyl, or Alk1 and Alk2 together represent a cycloaliphatic ring, and R1 represents alkyl, alkenyl or in each case optionally substituted phenyl, phenylalkyl, phenoxy, phenylthio, phenoxyalkyl, phenylthioalkyl, benzyloxy or benzylthio, and physiologically acceptable acid addition salts thereof, have been found. Compound of formula (II) are useful intermediates in the preparation of novel substituted diazolylalkyl-carbinols which display valuable antimycotic activity.
