ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE 1-(Azol-l-yl)-2-hydroxy-or-keto-pyridinyloxy-alkanes of the formula Image in which A is CH or N; R 15 alkyl with 1 to 4 carbonm atoms; X is -CO- or -CH(OH)-; Y is flourine, chlorine,bromine,iodine, alkyl 1 to 4 carbon atoms, hlogenoalkyl with up to 2 carbon atoms and up to 5 halogen atoms, alkenyl or alkynyl with 2 to 4 carbon atoms, alkoxy or alkylthio with I to 4 carbon atom, nitro, cyano, or aryl or aryloxy with 6 to 10 carbon atoms, and optionally substituted by halogn, alkyl, alkoxy or alkylthio with 1 or 2 carbon atoms or halogenoalkyl with up to 2 carbon atoms and up to 3 halogen atoms; and n is 0, 1, 2 or 3, an acid addition salt thereof, or a metal salt complex thereof, which possess fungicidal properties.
