ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Azomethine dyes of the formula Image in which A represents a diazotizable aromatic hydrocarbon. In particular, A is an optionally substituted benzene or naphthalene radical. B is an optionally substituted salicylalde- hyde or o-hydroxy-naphthaldehyde nucleus and C is an optionally substituted pyridine nucleus. Metal-modified polypropylene dyed with the azomethine dye has excellent fastness properties.
