ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: A baby carriage comprising a frame structure and a compartment for accommodating an infant. The compartment is formed by air-tight materials and includes a back rest having an opening. A perforated member extends coextensively with and over the opening. A cover coextensive with said opening is adapted to cover and uncover the latter. A pair of slide fastener stringers are provided, one of which being secured to and along the marginal edges of the cover and the other stringer to and along the marginal edges of the opening. The respective stringers are coupled or uncoupled by a sliger whereby the cover is closed over or removed from the opening.
