A foldable baby stroller having left and right side laterally spaced-apart frontwheel supports with a front wheel mounted to a forward end thereof, and a laterally extending rear axle with a rear wheel mounted to each end thereof. The stroller further includes left and right side laterally spaced-apart rear wheel supports, each having a lower end attached to the rear axle and an upper end portion with an upper end; and left and right side laterally spaced-apart handle supports, each having forward and rearward ends with a handle spanning between. The stroller also includes left and right side laterally spaced-apart folding assemblies, each having a pair of mounting plates and a guide pivotally attachedtherebetween and rotatable relative thereto. The rearward end of a corresponding one of the front wheel supports is fixedly attached between the plates. The forward end of a corresponding one of the handle supports is pivotally attached between the plates and rotatable relative to the front wheel support as a unit in first and second sequential rotational movements from an unfolded position to a folded position. The upper end portion of a corresponding one of the rear wheel supports is positioned between the plates with the upper end being pivotally attached to the forward end of the corresponding handle support for application of a drive force thereto by the handle support. The guide has an aperture with the upper end portion of the corresponding rear wheel support slidably disposed therein. The guide and guide aperture are configured to rotate the corresponding rear wheel support with rotation of the corresponding handle support in response to the drive force applied to the corresponding rear wheel support during both the first and second rotational movements of the corresponding handle support, and to slide the upper end portion of the corresponding rear wheel support in the guide aperture with rotation of the corresponding handle support in response to the drive force applied thereto during the second rotational movement of the corresponding handle support. The rotation and sliding movement of the corresponding rear wheel support moving the corresponding rear wheel support from an unfolded position to a folded position. Alternative style guides can also be used.
Poussette pliante dotée, du côté gauche et droit, de supports de roues avant espacés latéralement auxquels une roue avant est fixée à une extrémité avant, et d'un essieu arrière s'étendant latéralement auquel une roue arrière est fixée à chaque extrémité. La poussette comprend de plus : des supports de roue arrière espacés latéralement, du côté gauche et droit, présentant chacun une extrémité inférieure fixée à l'essieu arrière, ainsi qu'une partie d'extrémité supérieure avec une extrémité supérieure; des supports de poignée espacés latéralement, du côté gauche et droit, présentant chacun des extrémités avant et arrière avec un intervalle de poignée entre eux. La poussette comprend aussi des ensembles pliants espacés latéralement, du côté gauche et droit, ayant chacun une paire de plaques de montage, ainsi qu'un guide fixé par liaison pivotante entre eux. L'extrémité arrière d'un support de roue avant correspondant est montée de façon fixe entre les plaques. L'extrémité avant d'un support de poignée correspondant est fixée par liaison pivotante entre les plaques, en lien rotatif avec le support de roue avant, comme unité en premier et second mouvements de rotation séquentiels depuis une position non-pliée à une position pliée. La partie d'extrémité supérieure d'un support de roue arrière correspondant est positionnée entre les plaques, l'extrémité supérieure étant fixée de façon pivotante à l'extrémité avant du support de poignée correspondant pour l'application d'une force motrice par le support de poignée. Le guide présente une ouverture où la partie d'extrémité supérieure du support de roue arrière correspondant est disposée de manière à glisser. Le guide et l'ouverture de guide sont configurés de façon à : tourner le support de roue arrière correspondant en lien avec la rotation du support de poignée correspondant, en réponse à la force motrice appliquée au support de roue arrière correspondant durant le premier et le second mouvements de rotation du support de poignée correspondant; faire glisser la partie d'extrémité supérieure du support de roue avant correspondant dans l'ouverture de guide en lien avec la rotation du support de poignée correspondant, en réponse à la force motrice appliquée durant le second mouvement de rotation du support de poignée correspondant. Le mouvement de rotation et de glissement du support de roue arrière correspondant déplace le support de roue arrière correspondant depuis une position non-pliée à une position pliée. Des guides d'un autre type peuvent également être utilisés.
