ABSTRACT A BACK PACK Dislcosed herein is a back pack for carrying school articles, comprising a body having the general shape of a shoe, the body further including a heel portion, a toe portion and a face representative of a sole of the shoe, strap means attached to the body to permit the face to be engaged with a region of the back of a wearer, the body being oriented to have the heel portion above the toe portion, with the heel portion having a significantly greater capacity than the toe portion, thereby to minimize settling of the school articles in the toe portion.
