ABSTRACT A display sign for mounting at the ceiling of a passenger vehicle, typically a taxi, is disclosed. The display sign comprises a mounting member and a cover member that is removably attachable to the mounting member. The mounting member includes a first insertion member, a second insertion member, a spanning portion therebetween that joins the first and second insertion members and a support means adapted to receive the cover member in supporting relation thereto. The first and second insertion members are adapted for insertion at the pillars of a passenger vehicle behind the trim coverings thereof thereby to secure the display sign to the vehicle. The cover member includes a first panel and a second panel, and has a support receiving means adapted to be received in supporting relation by support means positioned of the mounting member. The first panel faces substantially rearwardly in the passenger vehicle and includes a display means associated therewith. Preferably, an illumination means within the interior of the display sign illuminates the display means.
