A backpack (10) has at least one angled interior panel (36), to urge items placed inside the backpack into a location close to, and supported by, the user's hips without the need for adjusting the backpack's contents. An inverted "V"-shaped pad (20) on the exterior of the backpack, disposed near the bottom thereof, contacts the user's back, and rests automatically on the user's hips, thereby distributing the load of the backpack more evenly.

Cette invention concerne un sac à dos (10) comportant au moins un panneau intérieur oblique (36) destiné à diriger les objets placés à l'intérieur du sac vers une zone proche des hanches de l'utilisateur et maintenue par les hanches, sans qu'il faille réarranger le contenu du sac. Un coussin (20) en forme de chevron, situé sur l'extérieur du sac à dos, près du bas de ce dernier, vient en contact avec le dos de l'utilisateur et repose naturellement sur les hanches, ce qui garantit une répartition plus uniforme de la charge.
