-7- "BADMINTON RACQUET" ABSTRACT A badminton racquet has a head of characteristic shape wherein the maximum length lying on the geo- metrical central longitudinal axis, is in a range of 22.0 to 24.0 cm, while the maximum width on a trans- versely extending axis either identical with the geometrical central transverse axis or spaced apart downwardly therefrom at most by 2 cm, is in a range of 17.5 to 19.5 cm, further, top and bottom arcs have a height of 0.5 to 2.5 cm, and the curvature radius of respective top and bottom corners is from 3.5 to 7.5 cm, but the top arc has a width from 9.0 to 11.0 cm while the bottom arc has a slightly narrower width from 8.5 to 10.5 cm.
