ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A bag, particularly a laundry bag, adapted for carrying and quickly dispensing soiled linen and the like is disclosed. The bag has front and back panels with closed side edges and a closed end and an open end, the back panel being of greater length than the front panel providing an extending flap which when folded overlies a portion of the front panel, and means to secure the flap in folded and overlying position. These means consisting of loops secured to the exterior front surface of the front panel intermediate its end, and dowels adapted for engagement in the loops secured to the end edge of said flap by cotton tape. Means in the form of a handle or hook are provided at the closed end of the bag to suspend the bag in downwardly open and self- emptying position.
