ABSTRACT A bag holder is disclosed for use with bags having handles. The bag holder has a generally rectangular frame and a lid attachable thereto. The frame includes a back frame member adapted to attach the frame to a vertical surface and to support the frame in a generally horizontal position. The frame further includes a pair of side frame members releasably attached along the rear edges to the back frame member and has bag holding means. The frame further includes a front frame member releasably attached to the front ends of the side frame members. There are means for releasably attaching the side frame members to the front and back frame members. In use, a bag is stretched over the frame and the handles of the bag are attached to the bag holding means in the side frame members.
