A bag (10) made of flexible sheet material having an opening (12) defined by a periphery (14). Juxtaposed with the periphery is a closure zone (26). The closure zone has induced extensibility in a direction (80) perpendicular to the opening of the bag so that handle ties may be conveniently formed upon extension of the closure zone material. The handle ties are bound together to form an integral closure for the bag. The induced extensibility is provided by a network of dual regions having different modes of extensibility. The dual region network also provides the advantage of an increased gripping surface for forming the handle ties.
L'invention concerne un sac composé d'un matériau flexible en feuille, présentant une ouverture définie par un contour. Une zone de fermeture est juxtaposée à ce contour. Cette zone de fermeture présente une extensibilité induite dans une direction perpendiculaire à l'ouverture du sac de manière à permettre la formation aisée de poignées par l'extension du matériau de la zone de fermeture. Ces poignées liens sont attachés ensemble pour fermer complètement le sac. L'extensibilité induite est réalisée au moyen d'un réseau comprenant deux types de régions présentant des modes d'extension différents. Ce réseau comprenant deux types de régions offre l'avantage de présenter une surface de préhension accrue pour la formation des poignées.
