The invention relates to a baggage item (10) comprising at least two rollers (22, 24), at least one of which can be moved into a functional position that is set apart from the projected surface of the baggage item (10) as seen from above, in order to improve the standing and/or rolling properties of the baggage item. A surface for standing on is provided in the form of an associated flat element (20). This provides a stable form of transport for the user and the baggage item (10), similar to a scooter.
