This invention relates to a novel balanced fishing rod handle. More particularly, this invention relates to a unique balanced fishing rod handle which connects to a primary rod and fishing reel receiving portion of a two-piece fishing rod, and a socket in the balanced fishing rod handle for receiving the secondary tip portion of the two piece fishing rod. A balanced fishing rod handle with rod tipstorage socket comprising: (a) a main handle body with a protrusion formed therein, the protrusion being formed in a butt end of the handle opposite an end of the handle which is connected to a fishing rod, said protrusion distributing weight to the butt end of the handle; (b) a first socket formed in the end of the main handle body for receiving a butt end of a fishing rod; and (c) a second socket in the protrusion, the socket facing in the direction of the end of the handle receiving the fishing rod.
