Abstract A balanced jigging lure with a T-shaped shank on which a weighted head and a barbed end section are balanced about a pivot point formed by the stem of the shank. Balance between the weighted head and the barbed end section is established by varying the length of the arms of the T-shaped shank, by selecting the weighted head and by selecting the barbed end section including any dressings and baits attached thereto.
