A bale handling cart is described having a frame supported on wheels for movement across the ground in a forward direction and a hitch extending forwardly therefrom for connection to a towing vehicle. A pick up assembly is mounted on the rear end of the frame for grappling a bale and lifting the bale upwardly from the ground. The frame includes a cradle mounted thereon for receiving a bale from the pick up assembly and supporting a bale thereon such that a second bale may be supported on the pick up assembly. The pick up assembly supports the bale for rotation about a longitudinal axis such that the bale may be unrolled on the ground for feeding livestock. A grain dispensing bin is mounted on the frame for dispensing oats from the bin with a bale being unrolled as the frame is moved across the ground in the forward direction for adding oats to the hay on the ground.
