ABSTRACT A closure is provided for a ball applicator dispenser container having a roll-on ball for dispensing fluids in the housing that forms a mouth for holding the ball in the mouth thereof. The closure is provided with an easily manufactured thermoplastic construction with a top and peripheral skirt having threads for engaging the finish threads of the container. There is provided a resiliant elastomeric seal ring that bears against the ball and also against the closure skirt and retaining ring for forming a seal, the seal ring being generally of a U shape with the closed end of the U next to the ball and skirt and retaining ring. .
