ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A race for a radial ball bearing is disclosed, the race being a thin-walled tubular element having two axial ends, at least one of which is provided with a rolled bead of a sub- stantially circular outer contour on which the balls of the bearing roll. The resulting bearing is very rigid and is easy to manufacture. A method of making bearings utilizing such races is also disclosed.
