ABSTRACT A method and apparatus for making ball-like product comprising the steps of: a. placing a sheet of a deformable material on a flat dry surface, b. pressing a grid made of an array of closed square compartments of equal volumes, each compartment having an open bottom, and where the array of compartments is surrounded by walls of equal heights and walls and compartments being of equal heights, c. moving the grid on the flat surface in a circular/spiral motion until the material in the compartments is formed in the ball-like shape.
