The invention concerns a mill comprising: a horizontal rotary drum (11, 12, 13) whereof each end is supported on a journal (14, 15) axially traversed by a tube (41) around which it defines an annular conduit (35); a vertical pipe system (6) emerging in the proximity of said journal at the level of a guide element (31) for guiding the material to be milled transmitted by the pipe system towards the drum; an outlet conduit (36) communicating with the annular conduit for discharging the mixture consisting of gas and the milled material, outside the drum. Each journal contains a helical structure (32), in the form of a screw conveyor, fixed thereto and rotating therewith about the tube, when the drum is rotating, said tube being a rigid gas-injecting tube which is maintained fixed.

Le broyeur est du type comportant: un tambour (11, 12, 13), rotatif, horizon-tal dont chaque extrémité est supportée par un tourillon (14, 15) axialement traversé par un tube (41) autour duquel il délimite un conduit annulaire (35); une tuyauterie (6) verticale débouchant à proximité de ce tourillon au niveau d'un élément de guidage (31) permettant de diriger le matériau à broyer transmis par la tuyauterie vers le tambour; une conduite de sortie (36) communiquant avec le conduit annulaire pour l'éjection du mélange constitué par du gaz et par le matériau broyé, hors du tambour. Chaque tourillon contient une structure hélicoïdale (32), en vis d'Archimède, fixée à lui et tournant avec lui autour du tube, lors de la rotation du tambour, ledit tube étant un tube rigide d'injection de gaz qui est maintenu immobile.
