BALL-PLUG VALVE Abstract This invention relates to the ball-plug valve comprising a blocking body having a geometry of a circular cylinder with hemispheri- cal end that is rotatably disposed in a circular cylindrical cavity with closed hemispherical end included in the valve body in a close . tolerance, wherein a through hole with the center line passing through the center of the spherical surface including the hemispherical end of the blocking body disposed in a forty five degree angle to the central axis of the blocking body lines up with the fluid passage hole with the center line passing through the center of the spherical surface including the hemispherical end of the cylindrical cavity disposed in a forty five degree angle to the central axis of the cylindrical cavity when the blocking body is rotated to the fully open position, while the blocking body blocks off the fluid passage hole when the blocking body is rotated to the fully closed position. - 0 -
