ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A method is disclosed for balloon stack containment, which comprises providing on or adjacent the mouth of each balloon at least two lugs spaced apart from each other, each lug having an engagement hole. A balloon holding stand is provided with at least two engagement bars which extend vertically and are spaced apart from each other in correspondence with the engagement holes on the balloon. Each engagement bar has a diameter smaller than that of each engagement hole, and the engagement holes are brought into engagement with the engagement bars, respectively.
