A baluster includes a decorative component and a tubular member. The decorative component has opposite first and second end portions, and an ornamental section between the first and second end portions. The first end portion has a shoulder face, and a projection projecting from the shoulder face. The tubular member has a tubular wall. The tubular wall has a first end face defining a first opening for insertion of the projection therethrough, and a second end face opposite to the first end face and defining a second opening. The first end face is welded to the shoulder face. A decorative ring is sleeved around a welded joint of the first end face and the shoulder face.
