A connector for connecting a wire to a balustrade rail, the connector comprising: a tubular body for receipt therein of a wire end portion and for positioning in the rail through a rail aperture; an opening in the tubular body for the wire to extend from the connector when the wire end portion is located in the tubular body; and a deflector for deflecting the wire at an angle to the wire end portion which is held in the tubular body, when the wire is under tension.

L'invention concerne un manchon permettant de relier un fil à une rampe de balustrade, le manchon comprenant : un corps tubulaire servant à recevoir une partie d'extrémité de fil et devant être positionné dans la rampe à travers une ouverture de rampe; une ouverture dans le corps tubulaire pour que le fil s'étende du manchon lorsque la partie d'extrémité de fil est dans le corps tubulaire; et un déflecteur pour dévier le fil selon un certain angle donné par rapport à la partie d'extrémité de fil qui est maintenue dans le corps tubulaire, lorsque le fil est sous tension.
