ABSTRACT In the selection of a signal using a narrow band pass filter, a tracking type band pass filter is usually employed in order not to cause a phase difference between input and output even if the input frequency changes. However, this tracking type band pass filter generates a delay time for the transitionary input signal since a feedback control is used. In the present invention, therefore, the input signal is divided into two parallel routes and they are combined again by a multiplier, and phase difference between input and output is successfully isolated from the effect of frequency by inserting band pass filters or delay lines and frequency multipliers or dividers This is achieved by making the frequency ratio of the two routes equal to the total sum of the group delay times from input to output.
