ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Disclosed is a band-pass passive filter made by means of microstrips on a dielectric substrate. This filter is formed by at least three mutually parallel microstrips, one end of which is grounded. At least two non-adjacent microstrips are coupled by a coupling impedance Z. The distances x , x , x , x of the 1 2 3 4 fastenings, on the microstrips, of the input, coupling impedance Z and output set the impedances and characteristics of the filter. A first improvement enables the pass band to be contracted, by means of a high impedance, parallel mounted on the input of the filter. A second impedance, series mounted on the input, corrects the input impedance modification. second improvement consists in folding the filter back on itself to reduce its bulk. The continuity of the microstrip lines is provided by metallizations on the flanks of the substrate, and U-shaped links provide access channels to the filter and its fastening means.
