ABSTRACT Disclosed is an improvement of scissors type and vetical feed type band saws wherein a rotatable subframe carries the movable head and is itself connected by a vertical pivot to the saw base. Selective rotation of the rotatable subframe causes rotation of the cutting plane of the saw band with respect to the saw base and the workpiece vise jaws which are mounted on the base. In this way selectively angled cuts can be made without reorienting the workpiece.
