ABSTRACT A bandolier assembly is provided for use in an apparatus for assembling a two-part electrical connector with an interposed cable. Each connector has a preassembled base and cover defining a space therebetween for interposition of a cable. The preassembled connectors are supported in spaced locations on an elongated bandolier which comprises two longitudinally extending films which are transversely spaced at each connector location to define a connector-containing envelope. Each envelope has openings at the marginal edges thereof for disposing the connectors therethrough. A projection extends inwardly of one of the films into the envelope and into the connector spacing to maintain the spacing until the connector is assembled with the cable.
