TITLE OF THE INVENTION BANDSAW BLADE TENSIONING APPARATUS FOR HORIZONTAL BANDSAW MACHINES ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention relates generally to so-called horizontal bandsaw machines in which an endless bandsaw blade is trained between wheels so as to perform cutting operations and, more particularly, to an apparatus for tensioning a bandsaw blade in horizontal bandsaw machines. In such a bandsaw blade tensioning apparatus, a hydraulic motor for urging radially a carriage member carrying a driven wheel is connected with a pilot operated check valve means and a rotary valve means. The pilot operated check valve means may be provided in a cap member of the hydraulic motor.
