ABSTRACT Bandsaw blade, and associated method. for use in the milling of timber, having in-line swaged teeth, wherein the cutting tip of each tooth. in front line profile, is triangular in shape, with a central apical point and two side points. Preferably. the apical angle is from 80° to 130°. with the base angles of the triangular point being equal to one another and lying from 20° to 60°. The bandsaw blade provided by the invention increases output and reduces effective cutting time substantially with respect to known blades for bandsaws.
