A banner material holder has a bar supported against loads by a support device. The bar has at a predetermined circumferential position a longitudinallydisposed opening for holding one of the edges of the banner material. The bar is adapted to attach to the support device along a transverse axis that is angularly spaced from the predetermined circumferential position. After an edge of the banner material is secured along the bar at the predetermined circumferential position, a portion of the banner material is wound around the bar. Then the bar is supported along the transverse axis.

Cette invention concerne un porte-bannière formée d'un tube accroché à un support. Le tube comporte à un point prédéterminé de son pourtour, une fente servant à retenir une des extrémités de la bannière. Le tube s'accroche à un support par un élément transversal à son axe longitudinal passant à un point espacé angulairement par rapport à la fente susmentionnée. Une fois la bannière fixée dans la fente par une de ses extrémités, elle est en partie enroulée autour du tube et celui-ci est accroché à un support par ses deux bouts.
