Reinforcing composite bar (1) for reinforcing materials (5) such as concrete, the rod (1) being made from continous fibers and a matrix material. The bar (1) is of rectangular, preferably square shape with runded corners . One or more of the sides of the bar may be provided with longitudinal continuing bands (3). The width of the respective band (3) may be more than 1/3 of the total width of the sides, and the dept of the respective band (3) may be more than 1/50 of the width of the same.

L'invention concerne une barre composite de renfort (1) permettant de renforcer des matériaux (5), tels que du béton, la tige (1) étant conçue à partir de fibres continues et d'un matériau matriciel. La barre (1) est de forme rectangulaire, de préférence, de forme carrée avec des coins arrondis. Au moins un côté de la barre peut comprendre des bandes longitudinales continues (3). La largeur de la bande respective (3) peut être supérieure à 1/3 de la largeur totale des côtés et la profondeur de la bande respective (3) peut être supérieure à 1/50 de la largeur de celle-ci.
