A barrier device comprising a top wall (12), a bottom wall (14), opposed end walls (16, 18), and, opposed sidewalls (20, 22) each including an elongated, vertically extending curb reveal (26) connected to the bottom wall (14), a substantially vertically extending upper section (32) connected to the top wall (12), an angled intermediate section (30) connected at one end to the upper section (32), and a substantially horizontally extending step (28) connected between the other end of the intermediate section (30) and the curb reveal (26). Each wall is formed of a resilient plastic, and the walls are interconnected to define a hollow interior which can be filled with a ballast material such as water, sand, rubber, concrete and the like.
L'invention concerne un élément barrière comprenant une paroi supérieure (12), une paroi inférieure (14), des parois d'extrémité opposées (16, 18) et des parois latérales opposées (20, 22) ces dernières comportant chacune un tableau de protection (26) relié à la paroi inférieure (14). Une partie supérieure (32) sensiblement verticale est reliée à la paroi supérieure (12), une partie intermédiaire (30) inclinée est reliée à une extrémité à la partie supérieure (32), et un décrochement sensiblement horizontal (28) relie l'autre extrémité de la partie intermédiaire (30) et le tableau de protection (26). Chaque paroi est formée d'un plastique résilient et les parois sont interconnectées de manière à délimiter une partie intérieure creuse pouvant être remplie d'un matériau de lest tel que de l'eau, du sable, du caoutchouc, du béton, etc.
