A barrier layer especially for multilayered composites of a transparent copolyamide made from: a) 15 to 75 mol % of a first component which is hexamethylene diamine with adipic acid; b) 15 to 65 mol % of a second component which is hexamethylene diamine and azelaic acid, hexamethylene diamine and sebacic acid, or mixtures thereof; c) 10 to 70 mol % of a third component which is hexamethylene diamine and isophthalic acid, hexamethylene diamine and terephthalic acid, or mixtures thereof; wherein a total of a), b), and c) is 100 mol %, and a barrier ratio of barrier effect to carbon dioxide to barrier effect to oxygen of said barrier layer is at least 3:1.

Une couche-barrière de copolyamide transparent, pour systèmes multicouches, renferme les constituants suivants, en % molaire : a) 15 à 75 d'un premier constituant, soit l'hexaméthylènediamine avec l'acide adipique; b) 15 à 65 d'un second constituant, soit l'hexaméthylènediamine et l'acide azélaïque, l'hexaméthylènediamine et l'acide sébacique, ou un mélange des deux; c) 10 à 70 d'un troisième constituant, soit l'hexaméthylènediamine et l'acide isophtalique, l'hexaméthylènediamine et l'acide téréphtalique, ou un mélange des deux. Le total de a, b et c est de 100 en % molaire, et le rapport de l'effet barrière pour le dioxyde de carbone sur l'effet barrière pour l'oxygène de la dite couche-barrière est d'au moins 3/1.
