ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Protection is provided against liquid and vapour ethyleneglycol dinitrate and nitroglycerine by employing a barrier film material selected from the group consisting of unoriented polypropylene, polyvinylidine chloride-coated polypropylene, polyester, high density polyethylene/acrylic blends or co-extrudates, high density bleached wood pulp paper, wax-coated low density polyethylene and low density polyethylene/ polyvinylidine chloride blends or co-extrudates. The barrier film is useful as a liner for explosives boxes or when fabricated into protective clothing.
