The invention concerns barrier materials to prevent penetration by gases and liquids. They are water-resistant and can be produced in the form of thin, single- or multi-material layers or films that can be drawn and/or thermoformed. They have a copolyamide base, essentially made up of derivatives of hexamethylene diamine, iso- and teraphthalic acids, and possibly adipic acid. They can be used to make composite materials that include one or more thin layers, leaves and/or films, tubes or other hollow containers to be used as packagings for chemicals, foods, pharmaceuticals and/or cosmetics.
La présente invention concerne des matériaux barrière aux gaz et aux liquides, résistants à l'eau et susceptibles d'être mis en forme de films ou de couches minces mono- ou multimatière transformables par étirage et/ou thermoformage. Ces matériaux barrière sont à base de copolyamide essentiellementconstitué de motifs dérivés d'hexaméthylène diamine, d'acides iso- et téréphtaliques et éventuellement d'acide adipique. Ils peuvent être utilisés pour la fabrication de matériaux composites comprenant une ou plusieurs couches minces, feuilles et/ou films, tubes, corps creux destinés notamment à l'emballage de produits chimiques, de produits alimentaires, de produits pharmaceutiques et/ou cosmétiques.
