A flexible base board for a chair, easily bends into a desirable shape. The base board fits more appropriately to the body of a person seated on the chair following the shape of the person~s body without pressing the back etc., thereby providing the person with good sitting comfort. The flexible base board is used for the backrest etc. of a chair. The base board has an upper shell (4), an intermediate shell (5), and a lower shell (6). A large number of holes (14) having substantially the same size are substantially uniformly formed in the entire surfaces of the upper shell (4) and of the lower shell (6). Also, a large number of holes (15) are formed in the entire surface of the intermediate shell (5), and each hole (15) has a greater transverse width than a hole (14) in the upper shell (4) and the lower shell (6).
L'invention concerne un panneau support flexible pour un siège qui se déforme facilement pour adopter une forme souhaitée. Le panneau support s'adapte de façon plus appropriée au corps d'une personne assise sur le siège épousant la forme du corps de la personne sans appuyer sur le dos, entre autres, ce qui permet d'assurer à la personne une station assise confortable. On utilise ce panneau support flexible pour le dossier ou autre d'un siège. Le panneau support comporte une coque supérieure (4), une coque intermédiaire (5) et une coque inférieure (6). Un grand nombre de trous (14) ayant sensiblement la même dimension sont pratiqués de façon sensiblement uniforme dans la totalité de la surface de la coque supérieure (4) et de la coque inférieure (6). Un grand nombre de trous (15) sont également pratiqués dans la totalité de la surface de la coque intermédiaire (5) et chaque trou (15) a une largeur transversale supérieure à celle des trous (14) dans la coque supérieure (4) et la coque inférieure (6).
