Base plates for built-in electrical devices, with fittable chromatic covers and intermediate frames, are attachable to a metal frame. The base plates constitute a visible element outside, together with a rocker key for actuating such mechanism, which present covers fitted through pressure, by slotting triangular-shaped projections on their edge beneath the lower side rim of the base plates. The covers have a chromatic finish distinct from the base plates such that when one of the plate covers is fitted over the corresponding plate, the chromatic aspect of the ensemble is changed, as necessary by using different plate covers with different chromatic finishes.
