The present invention concerns a base station (13) for a contactless interrogation system including an oscillating device (23) supplying a control signal having a frequency which is adjustable via adjusting means (21, 22), means (24) for controlling an antenna connected to the base station (13) for transmitting information, means (25, 26, 27) for decoding the information picked up by the antenna. The invention is characterised in that the oscillating device (23) is a voltage controlled oscillator which is phase locked by said adjusting means (21, 22), so that the control signal frequency is determined by the base station (13) and is adapted to the antenna. The sensitivity of a contactless interrogation system comprising the base station (13) of the present invention is improved, its structure is simpler and its different components can be integrated in a same chip.
Station de base (13) destinée à un système d'interrogation sans contact. Comprend un dispositif oscillant (23) transmettant un signal de commande sur une fréquence réglable par un moyen de réglage (21, 22); des moyens (24) de commande d'une antenne connectée à la station de base (13) pour transmettre de l'information; des moyens (25, 26, 27) de décodage de l'information captée par l'antenne. L'invention se caractérise par le fait que le dispositif oscillant (23) est un oscillateur accordé par tension, verrouillé en phase par ledit moyen de réglage (21, 22), de sorte que la fréquence du signal de commande soit déterminée par la station de base (13) et adaptée à l'antenne. La sensibilité d'un système d'interrogation sans contact comprenant la station de base (13) de la présente invention est améliorée, sa structure est plus simple et ses différents composants peuvent être intégrés dans une même puce.
