A base station uses one of two or more frequency bands to perform communication of OFDM scheme with a mobile station. The base station has a means that transmits a synchronization channel and a control channel by use of a band which includes the center frequency (fA), on the raster, of a first band (20 MHz) and the bandwidth of which is wider than the bandwidth of a second band (5 MHz at an end). The control channel includes center frequency information that determines the center frequency (fA~) of the second band. After acquiring the center frequency information in the band including the center frequency on the raster, the mobile station shifts to a desired band. Thus, the mobile station can be connected to the desired band without searching for any frequencies that are not existent on the raster.
La présente invention concerne une station de base utilisant une bande de fréquence parmi plusieurs pour réaliser la communication de schéma OFDM avec une station mobile. La station de base possède un moyen qui transmet un canal de synchronisation et un canal de commande à l~aide d~une bande comprenant la fréquence centrale (fA) sur la trame, la première bande (20 MHz) ayant une largeur supérieure à celle d~une seconde bande (5 MHz à une extrémité). Le canal de commande transmet des données qui déterminent la fréquence centrale (fA´) de la seconde bande. Après acquisition des données de la bande comprenant la fréquence centrale sur la trame, la station mobile passe à une certaine bande. Ainsi, la station mobile peut être connectée à la bande souhaitée sans recherche de fréquences n~existant pas sur la trame.
