Since the introduction of bullnose corner bead (rounded outside corners), the laying of baseboard trim has become almost impossible. The need for a 90° radius component (corner clip) has come to pass. The requirement of my present invention eliminates this laborious task. It allows the baseboard to sit on top of the anchoring tab, while butting up against the side of the component (corner clip). This component is very easy to install. You simply put it up to the corner and nail it in place. Caulking is required to hide any irregularities at the top and on the sides. This invention is made from a mould which required precise and exact measurements. This mould is used in a process called plastic injection moulding. The component can be made from nylon or plastic providing both strength and paintability. The outermost face is finished by a process called electrical discharge machining (EDM). This allows latex paint to adhere to the component. As this component is higher at the top and proud on the sides, it has a universal look and fits all baseboards.
