"BASEBOARD-TYPE FINNED-TUBE SPACE HEATER" ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE This invention relates to a baseboard-type space heater characteized by a boiler connected to deliver a vaporized high-boiling-point working fluid consisting of a mixture of ethylene glycol and water to an upwardly inclined finned-tube heat exchanger at a pressure of between approximately -5 p.s.i. and 15 p.s.i. and at a temperature of between approximately 190° F. and 250° F. where the internal volume of the heat exchanger in relation to the total system volume does not exceed approximately 15% and the electrical energy supplied to the working fluid heater increases from a minimum level of approximately 300 watts for a one foot long heat exchanger at a rate of approximately 125 watts for each additional foot in length up to a length of eight feet.
