A basecoat composition is provided comprising: a) at least one film-forming polymer selected from the group con-sisting of acrylic polyols and polyester polyols; b) at least one rheological modifier; c) at least one solvent; d) at least one pigment; e) optionally, at least one microgel; f) optionally, at least one crosslinking agent; and g) at least one cellulose mixed ester. A wet--on-wet- on wet process is also provided. The process for coating a substrate comprises: a) applying a primer to said substrate to produce a primed substrate; b) applying a basecoat composition to said primed substrate while said primer is wet to produce a basecoated substrate; and c) applying a clearcoat composition to said basecoated substrate while said basecoat composition is wet and optionally said primer is wet to produce a coated substrate. Coated articles are also provided.
Linvention concerne une composition de couche de fond comprenant : a) au moins un polymère formant un film sélectionné dans le groupe constitué par les polyols acryliques et les polyols polyesters; b) au moins un modificateur rhéologique; c) au moins un solvant; d) au moins un pigment; e) éventuellement au moins un microgel; f) éventuellement au moins un agent de réticulation; et g) au moins un ester mélangé à de la cellulose. Linvention concerne également un procédé humide. Le procédé de revêtement dun substrat consiste à : appliquer un apprêt sur ledit substrat pour produire un substrat apprêté; b) appliquer un composition de fond sur le substrat apprêté pendant que lapprêt est humide pour produire un substrat revêtu dune couche de fond; et c) appliquer une composition de revêtement transparent sur le substrat revêtu dune couche de fond, la composition de couche de fond étant humide, et lapprêt facultatif étant humide afin de produire un substrat revêtu. Linvention concerne également des articles revêtus.
