Abstract of the Disclosure New basic enol ethers are described, as well as processes for their production. These new ethers, which are effective spasmolytics, correspond to the general formula Image (I) in which R1 represents a phenyl, pyridyl or thienyl group optionally substituted by halogen, lower alkyl (C1-4), nitro, trifluoro- methyl, hydroxy and/or lower alkoxy (C1-4), alk is a linear or branched alkylene group with 2 to 4 carbon atoms, and R2 and R3, which may be the same or different, represent hydrogen atoms or alkyl groups with 1 to 4 carbon atoms or, together with the nitrogen atom to which they are attached, represent the pyrrolidino, piperidino or morpholino group.
