ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: Basic ethers of 4-hydroxy benzophenones acting as beta-blocking agents, and relevant preparation process, starting from 4-hydroxy-benzophenones and, by reacting them with epi- chlorohydrine, transforming them into the corresponding 4-0- (2',3' epoxy-propoxy) derivatives, then reacting with isopropyl- amine, obtaining the substances according to the invention which can be defined as 4 (gammaisopropylamino-betahydroxy-propoxy) benzophenones, wherein the 3 and 4' positions can be represented by: H, Cl and acetyl.
