BATCH TEST APPARATUS WITH ADJACENT NEGATIVE CONTROL AND PATIENT SAMPLE ROWS ABSTRACT There are described test apparatus, a Kit and a method for conducting immunoassays. They all provide for at least two rows of test wells, the wells being constructed and designated 80 that all the wells of at least a portion of a row receive only materials for a negative control, and all the wells of at least a portion of an adjacent row receive only materials, such as the patient sample and reagents, capable of producing a substantial color change. By insuring that no color-producing well occurs between a patient sample well and its negative control well, a more accurate comparison is obtained.
