A combination bath fan register box, air conditioning and heating boot (100) requires one opening on the wall or the ceiling (90) of the bathroom, thus reducing the installation and maintenance costs associated with the ventilation of the bathroom. The combination includes a trim kit (209) and has an air outlet (10) which is connected to the outside air and an inlet (53) for receiving conditioned air to be distributed within a confined space. Louvers (107) are provided around the perimeter of the face plate of the trim assembly to dispense conditioned air from the air inlet to the confined space with the appropriate air gradient. Air flow through the louvers is controlled using one or more slidable dampers (109) mounted above the louvers (107). Further, one or more baffles (218) are positioned centrally on the face plate to guide the removal of stale air from the confined space. A fan (129) is centrally positioned above the face plate (209) to draw stale air and other odoriferous fumes from the confined space through the baffles (218) and to eject the noxious fumes to the outside atmosphere.

Cette combinaison comprend un ensemble d'ornement (209) et une sortie d'air (10) qui est reliée à l'air libre, ainsi qu'une entrée d'air (53) qui reçoit l'air conditionné devant être réparti dans un espace confiné. Des persiennes (107), qui sont disposées sur le périmètre de la plaque de recoouvrement du système d'ornement, répartissent l'air conditionné depuis l'entrée d'air vers l'espace confiné selon un gradient d'air approprié. Le débit d'air à travers les persiennes est régulé à l'aide d'un ou de plusieurs registres coulissants (109) qui sont montés au-dessus desdites persiennes (107). Une ou plusieurs chicanes (218) sont en outre disposées au centre de la plaque de recouvrement de manière à guider le flux d'air vicié que l'on expulse de l'espace confiné. Un boîtier de ventilateur (129) est disposé de manière centrale au-dessus de la plaque de recouvrement (209) de manière à évacuer l'air vicié et autres émanations malodorantes par les chicanes (208) hors de l'espace confiné, puis à éjecter les émanations nocives dans l'atmosphère.
